How often do you really listen to your body? In most cases, if our bodies could spontaneously begin dialect with us, it might sound something like this…
“I, Body, need you to pay attention to my needs. I was designed to constantly assess imbalances and give you signals in response to them. Please learn to listen to the signals and help me make the necessary adjustments. We’ll live a longer, happier life together.”
This is the foundation of iBody Wellness. How many times have you ignored the many signs your body gives you when it is out of balance. Here are some examples of those signs:
- anxiety
- headaches
- irregular sleep patterns
- low back or neck pain
- irritability or blue moods
- jaw pain
- the list goes on….
Spend more time in the present moment and become aware of the many physical and mental signals your body sends you. With practice, you will be able to make educated decisions to once again achieve balance and true well-being.
Massage Therapy is one of the most effective and enjoyable ways to learn and practice paying attention to your body and creating a natural awareness to its subtle messages.
Practicing for over seven years now, I’ve picked up several techniques along the way. My massage style incorporates many of these techniques and each session could include Swedish relaxation massage, deep tissue and muscle stripping, passive stretching, aroma and heat therapy. It really just depends on who is on the table and what is going on with their body that day. I’m committed to continuing education and have certifications in deep tissue, sports massage, stretching and spa therapy. Schedule online via the link —-> over there.
